Community Talk: Letting Go

About me

Hi! I'm Luis. I've been practicing meditation for a couple of decades now, and it has really transformed my life. I came to the practice looking for support in meeting my own mental and emotional pain, and it has offered me that and so much more! It's a real source of joy and meaning to get to share it with others as well. I have trained and worked extensively within the Plum Village community founded by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, and am really inspired by their emphasis on weaving meditation practice into daily life. I've also studied and practiced Vipassana for several years with students of Sayadaw U Pandita both in the US and Burma, and find their method and insight into the nature of experience quite impactful. Supported by my meditation practice, I have found immense healing and transformation through various forms of psychedelic-assisted therapy, and have extensive experience supporting others in preparing for, going through, and integrating their own journeys. I also work as an executive coach and corporate trainer, supporting leaders and organizations in developing their emotional intelligence, communication, and leadership skills through mindfulness-based tools and experiences. Regardless of the context, I find meditation practice to be an incredible resource to nurture clarity, presence, joy, and healing, in service of our personal and collective well-being. I look forward to sharing it with you.
